At Heather’s Walkies, I aim to provide the best experience for your pets by putting them at the centre of all that I do.

I am a member of the National Institute for Canine Ethics (NICE), Professional Dog Walkers Association, and Association of Dog Boarders.

I hold a 5* (Higher Standards) boarding license from Bolton Council, which can be verified on their website.

I am fully insured, extensively trained in first aid, hold an enhanced DBS certificate, and am constantly updating my knowledge of canine welfare through formal qualifications and CPD. (A full list of qualifications and books can be found on my website) I offer small dog group walks, limited to 4 dogs per walk (dogs up to 15kg). I offer occasional daycare for small dogs (up to 12kg). I offer dog home boarding for small dogs (up to 12kg). For larger dogs, I offer solo walks from your home. Safety equipment is carried on all walks, and I have crash-tested crates in my car boot. All dogs must wear a well-fitting harness on walks, and I can suggest brands that work well for most breeds. Dogs paws are washed and dried after each session, and I take the time to make sure they are settled well back home before leaving them. I constantly monitor canine body language on walks to make sure that each dog is getting the best experience.
