Finchley Dog Walker was founded in 2011 by Del, inspired by his experience with his reactive rescue dog, Roxy, and the unique needs of dogs who don’t thrive in group settings. After a career change, Del realised the lack of one-to-one walking options for dogs who need a calmer, more focused approach, especially those who might be nervous or reactive in typical group environments. His journey with Roxy also ignited a deeper commitment to dog training, prompting him to expand his knowledge through the Dog Training College continually.
Today, Finchley Dog Walker offers personalised one-to-one dog walks, house-sitting for anxious or reactive dogs, and pop-in services for cats, rabbits, and other small animals. With an enhanced DBS check (from Del’s work as a leader of a thriving 100-member Scout group), full insurance, and both human and canine first aid certifications from Rachel Bean, Finchley Dog Walker is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and professional care tailored to each pet’s unique needs.
