No Longer in the Doghouse is owned by Dawn Ash-Bunting BSc Degree ABT specialising in Dog Behaviour based in North Leeds & Wetherby District.
I'm proud to be a positive reward trainer with over 16 years hands on experience with all breeds of dogs. This includes working with my own dogs Indy, Dexter and Poppy.
My 1-2-1 Dog Training & Behaviour Support services in your own home and daily life will provide you with new skills and knowledge to ensure your dog is no longer in the dog house.
My training is supported with working in the Veterinary Industry ensuring my advice is looking at the health and up to date scientific research of our best friend.
My ethos with every case is to look at the whole picture not just the behaviour and always using positive reward techniques to ensure a happy learning journey for the whole family as we are all different.
Together we will look at how your dog learns and how you can communicate with each other in a kind and effective way, making sure your dog's core needs are met such as enough sleep and using enrichment with nose and mind activities.
1-2-1 Services are provided in North Leeds (Chapel Allerton, Roundhay, Adel, Meanwood) and Wetherby District (Kirk Deighton,Collingham, Boston Spa).
I also provide video mentoring for clients which are great for if your dog is nervous of new visitors and this service is offered throughout the UK.

Dawn is an experienced dog trainer who has been extremely helpful with our 2 rescue dogs. One of our dogs is dog reactive and she has helped us learn to manage him. She is also brilliant at providing workshops eg gundog or rainy day activities workshops.
Dawn had been a fantastic help with our reactive rescue dog. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and this combined with patience and good humour have made training our rescue dog fun as well as successful.
I have known Dawn many years and have had the pleasure of photographing her dogs for her website too – who were impeccable. A trainer that can turn out their dogs as examples and training aids in class do stand alone out there. She has a wide range of experience, runs some fabulous workshops and supports you throughout. Supported everyone through Covid too. She is my go to guru when I have dog issues and training needs from young dogs to old. Her calm and approachable nature instills confidence in you when you are at your most vulnerable with your dogs. Finding ways of success and working with the dog in front of you…. a real gem
